We're keeping the packing list pretty light.

Curiosity, because the best part of the day should be the questions that come after the slides. A camper spirit, because this is meant to feel more like people comparing notes than sitting through another polished conference. Your production war stories, because the Fire Starters shouldn't be the only ones sharing them. Something warm, because part of the camp happens outside. And maybe a little extra space in your bag, because there will, naturally, be some camp supplies waiting for you.

Laptop? Only if you really want it. Suit? Definitely not required. Business cards? Up to you. LinkedIn works too.

Come ready to listen, ask uncomfortable questions, meet people and stay for the conversations between the talks.

We created #nobullshit.camp because there are already plenty of places to hear how things are supposed to work. The whole day moves between DevOps & Platform, Leadership and Culture, but the common thread is the same: what worked, what broke and what would you do differently next time.

That's why the people joining us are campers, our speakers are Fire Starters, and the conversations don't stop when somebody leaves the stage.

The final agenda is live, with talks running from AWS costs and Kubernetes image pulls through production AI, Rust, engineering culture and leadership.

Campfire Stage meets Goulash Stage

Most of the day happens on the Campfire Stage, our single main stage inside Nová Cvernovka.

But some conversations need a little more room than a 25-minute talk and 5-minute Q&A.

That's what the Goulash Stage is for.

Outside, there'll be an actual fire, an actual pot of goulash and space to catch up with Fire Starters and other campers without a microphone or countdown timer. Not really a stage, but you get the gist. 

We won’t leave you hungry

We have this part covered.

Diamonds Roastery will keep the specialty coffee flowing throughout the day, while Giraffe Bakery is handling the sweet and savoury snacks during both coffee breaks, including vegan and gluten-free options.

Lunch starts at 12:30 and comes from Dvanásť Duší, with pulled pork, lemon and herb-roasted chicken, tofu, pilaf, roasted potatoes and Thai curry sauce to mix and match. Meat, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free campers should all find something for their plate.

And yes, there's the goulash too - we all know it cooks for a while, so our crew will be preparing it from the morning, but probably the final taste test by all of you will be in the afternoon.

After the final words from the stage, we'll move to Skrytý Bar. Every camper gets one token for a beer, wine or lemonade, so the first round is on us.

Meet the Campfire Partners

A campfire is easier to keep burning when you've got good people around it. This year's Campfire Partners are Hykell, Sentry, Amazon Web Services, TOUCHIT and AceON Accelerator.

Hykell helps engineering teams find hidden AWS costs and practical opportunities to reduce cloud spend without slowing the teams building on top of it. You'll also hear from co-founder Ott Salmar on the Campfire Stage, and you can continue the AWS cost conversation with the team at their booth.

Sentry helps developers detect, understand and fix broken code faster. Their debugging platform is built around giving teams the context they need to move from "something broke" to actually fixing it. They'll have a booth at camp too, so stop by between talks.

Amazon Web Services probably needs less of an introduction around this particular campfire. Alongside supporting the event, AWS Senior Partner Solutions Architect Radu Dobrinescu is joining the speaker lineup to talk about AI agents entering the platform engineering workflow. You'll find the AWS team at their booth throughout the day as well.

TOUCHIT knows its way around the tech wilderness. The Slovak tech publication covers everything from smartphones and computers to consumer electronics, automotive tech, global launches, reviews and hands-on testing. They're joining us as a Campfire Partner and helping carry some of the stories beyond Nová Cvernovka.

AceON Accelerator works with early-stage startups through mentoring, practical education, expert networks and investment opportunities. They've also been helping spread the word about the camp through their founder and startup community.

Getting to Nová Cvernovka

We're at Nová Cvernovka, Račianska 78, Bratislava.
By tram: Line 3 to Nám. Biely Kríž. From there, you're basically at camp.
By train: Bratislava-Vinohrady and Bratislava-Predmestie are both close to the venue.
Doors open at 08:15, so give yourself enough time to check in, grab coffee, find your seat and meet a few campers before we start at 09:00.

Meet the crew behind it

#nobullshit.camp is organized by Labyrinth Labs, the team behind cloud-native platform LARA and a bunch of DevOps, AWS, Kubernetes and platform engineering projects.
Most days, we're building and operating infrastructure. On 23 September, we're turning some of those conversations, lessons, mistakes and "you won't believe what happened in production" stories into something the wider community can share too.
From builders, for builders. That's the whole point.

• What is #nobullshit.camp?
  A one-day conference on 23 September 2026 at Nová Cvernovka in Bratislava, built from builders, for builders. Expect honest field stories about infrastructure, AI, engineering culture and leadership rather than polished success stories.
• Who's it for?
  DevOps engineers, platform engineers, tech leaders, engineering managers, developers and anyone interested in what actually goes into building and running technology.
• When should I arrive?
  Doors open at 08:15. The program starts at 09:00, so come early enough for registration and coffee.
• Is it really just one track?
  Yes. All talks happen on one Campfire Stage, so there's no conference FOMO. The outdoor Goulash Stage gives you another place to continue conversations with Fire Starters during the day.
• Do I need to bring food?
  No. Lunch, both coffee breaks and coffee throughout the day are covered. There will also be vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.
• Will the talks be recorded?
  Yes. Talks are being recorded and selected recordings will be available after the event.
• Can I watch the conference online?
  No livestream this time. #nobullshit.camp is an in-person event.
• Will there be time for networking?
  Plenty. Coffee breaks, lunch, the Goulash Stage and the post-event gathering at Skrytý Bar are all there for exactly that.
• What's the dress code?
  There isn't one. Hoodies, T-shirts, hiking shirts, company merch... wear whatever you'd actually feel comfortable building infrastructure in.
• What if I can no longer make it?
  Tickets are non-refundable but transferable. Email nobullshit.camp@lablabs.io if you need to transfer yours to another camper.
