Discover how Labyrinth Labs partnered with Dataddo to optimize their cloud infrastructure, leveraging AWS funding and cutting-edge technology.

Introduction:

It all began with a casual conversation about cloud & AWS. Before partnering with us, Dataddo [a data integration platform] faced several challenges. Their cloud infrastructure was inefficient and costly, and we slowly discovered that Dataddo was in urgent need of assistance with their AWS infrastructure. They were looking for someone to guide them through the migration process to AWS, and needed additional resources for specific goals and projects, but lacked the necessary funding.

Programs & AWS Credits:

Our journey with them started with a workshop and a Proof of Concept [PoC] for their infrastructure. Impressed by the initial results, Dataddo decided to migrate to AWS, taking advantage of a startup program worth thousands of dollars [previously known as AWS Jumpstart, now AWS Build Accelerator] that covered their onboarding.

We guided Dataddo through the application process for AWS funding, providing specific insights and support, helping them secure tens of thousands of dollars in credits from the AWS Activate program for startups, thanks to our accelerator program. Additionally, we onboarded their investor [VC] into Activate, which brought them even more AWS credits.

Dataddo leveraged from various AWS services, such as EC2, S3, and RDS, using the credits. Our strategies ensured they optimized the use of these AWS credits, implementing tailored approaches to meet their needs.

Building their infrastructure was the next step. We provided consultations to familiarize them with AWS, utilized our cloud-native platform LARA for efficient deployment and successfully onboarded them to the marketplace.

Impact & Results:

The benefits Dataddo experienced were tangible. They achieved significant cost savings, improved performance, and reduced time-to-market. Our support enabled them to scale, expand services, and reach new markets, directly impacting their overall business strategy and goals.

It’s been three years since our first collaboration and we’re still working together to continuously improve their cloud services, manage their infrastructure, optimize their costs, and resell.

As part of the resell, we offer quarterly consultations with our cloud experts and conduct cost optimization of their bill. Whenever Dataddo wants to try a new service or open a new region, we request AWS credits or seek reimbursement for part of our work.

Over the years, we have managed to save Dataddo thousands of dollars on their AWS bill. Our long-term cooperation ensures that their infrastructure is well taken care of, allowing them to focus on growth.
