And our customers love us. Because of our reputation for technical excellence and the growing demand for the solutions we provide, we are looking for a new member of our team - an ambitious Business Development Manager (BDM) to help drive this growth.
We are looking for a sales professional who will not only expand our existing sales capabilities, but also bring new energy and perspective to our team.
This position is focused on the Slovak and Czech markets and operations in Bratislava, other markets may be added later.
We are looking for someone who is not only motivated to achieve excellence, but also shares our passion for technology and innovation. This role requires a unique combination of strategic thinking, commercial enthusiasm and the ability to build strong relationships.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Identifying new business opportunities, including new clients, new partnerships or new products and services.
- Arranging and holding business meetings with potential customers. Pitching sales and products to new and existing clients.
- Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs.
- Handling business processes from finding a potential opportunity to signing the contract.
- Delivering, ruthlessly and rigorously, against your sales targets.
- Leading the generation of the pipeline and sales funnel across all sales channels (Linkedin, Email, Calls, Events).
- Creating sales presentations and offers, preparing sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
- Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends.
What You’ll Need To Be Successful
You will work closely with our sales and engineering teams to understand customer needs and demonstrate the value of Labyrinth Labs solutions. Your understanding of cloud technologies combined with your ability to communicate complex concepts to a variety of audiences will be key to our success.
You can understand client needs, uncover opportunities, and clearly communicate the value of what we build.
- You have a hunter mindset and proactively go after opportunities instead of waiting for them to appear.
- You have 2-4 years of hands-on experience in sales, ideally in tech [cloud or SaaS experience is a strong plus; we are not a bodyshop and we do not sell man-days].
- You can understand client needs, uncover opportunities, and clearly communicate the value of what we build.
- You have a track record of results in sales or business development roles.
- You think strategically but are also able to come up with creative, out-of-the-box solutions.
- You communicate clearly, directly, and without corporate bullshit.
- You have a good overview of the Czech and Slovak startup ecosystem and a relevant network of contacts.
- You can organize your work, keep CRM clean and structured, and consistently follow things through.
- You are comfortable working independently but also know when to support the team.
- You have a solid understanding of marketing, business, and growth principles.
- You are fluent in English and native in Slovak or Czech.

We offer monthly fixed base of 2000€ - 4000€ [based on experience] + bonuses. This position is with unlimited variable commission.

Interview Process
Just like you, we also want to close the Business Development Manager position in the shortest amount of time. Doing our best, we want to go through the interview process within 20 business days from the first interview.
The process consists of:
Round 1: Vibe Check (60 mins): Our People Partner will walk you through the role and what life at Labyrinth Labs actually looks like (yes, including the fun and slightly chaotic parts). We also want to get to know you better, what drives you, what you’ve worked on, and what you genuinely enjoy doing.
Round 2: Prep for Deep Dive: Before the next round, we’ll send you a few AWS-related materials to look through. No homework, no presentation. It’s just a starting point for the conversation we’ll have during the Deep Dive.
Round 3: Deep Dive (90 mins): A talk with our Chief Growth Officer where we’ll explore your mindset and sales modus operandi, and touch upon some of the topics from the materials.
Round 4: Reference Check: We’ll ask you for contacts to 1-2 people you’ve closely worked with throughout your career.
Round 5: The CEO Huddle (60 mins): A conversation with our CEO focused on communication, relationship building, networking, and your overall approach to working with clients and partners.
Round 6: Meet & Greet (60 mins): We’ll grab lunch together, you’ll meet the team, and get a better sense of how things work around here.
